About Andrew Chaplain BSc (Hons) MCSP SRP
Andrew is a Chartered Physiotherapist at Back2Fitness, as well as being a recognised Sports Masseur. Graduating from the Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, Andrew’s focus has been on Musculoskeletal injuries and treatments and rehabilitation of patients of all ages.
Andrew has vast experience working within the NHS as well as working with Scottish Basketball and has been the team physiotherapist within the academy through to Senior Women and Senior Men teams.
Out-with of physiotherapy Andrew plays basketball himself in the Strathclyde Local League and attends the gym on a regular basis.
A member of the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Andrew is also trained in the use of kinesiology tape and holds a diploma in sports massage and still is actively involved playing basketball within the Strathclyde Leagues.
Having worked with elite athletes as well as those who partake in sport and exercise outside of high performance environments, Andrew has developed a keen interest in applying various rehabilitation techniques to a variety of patients.
Above all Andrew shares the Back2Fitness philosophy of treating patients as individuals, therefore gaining better results.
